MGTOW Habits

“Habit is all.”

Truer words have never been spoken.

It is my opinion that there are certain habits that every MGTOW man would benefit from adopting.

We’ll get to those in just a moment.

If you observe around you will notice that many modern men have adopted atrocious repetitive behaviors.

Swiping on Tinder.

Boozing daily.

Drugs….

Donating money to random women on onlyfans.

The thing about habits is they add up.

These small (sometimes big) repeated behaviors can alter the course of a man’s life.

If you ask me…..the habits I listed above will certainly lead to a dead end.

So today I want to share with you a few habits I think every MGTOW man should adopt.

Then I will list anti-habits

….or the actions I think men would do themselves justice to avoid.

So let’s jump in.

MGTOW Habits To Adopt

  1. Produce Daily

Produce something of value every day if you can. I have had a couple of my followers reach out to me on twitter suggesting that they would start blogs.

Do it.

Production is really just another way of saying value creation.

Start small if you have to.

Create art and post it on your social media.

Write an article.

Carve wood.

Mow your neighbors lawn.

Work on your car.

Doesn’t matter what it is….each man’s production habit will take form in a different manner.

The point is you are switching from the paradigm of consumer to producer.

This is a powerful shift.

Likely this habit will lead to an increased earning capacity for you….

But more importantly, the act of creation is fulfilling.

There is a certain satisfaction in creating something from nothing.

Consumption is enjoyable for a short time but ultimately leads to decay.

Produce.

 2. Build Hobbies

I’ve said this before…

Every man should have a few hobbies to enjoy in his free time away from production.

Hobbies can provide a man with the most important things in life:

  • Health
  • Camaraderie
  • Flow
  • Mastery (skills that are hobbies…golden cross)
  • Fulfillment

Can be anything really.

Fishing, drones, building computers, chess, working on cars, hunting, trading…..

Again, each man is different.

For me…

I like to write and I like to trade.

Here’s a list for you:

“Cheese making”…..

It really can be anything.

The man who sits around simping….or is stuck obsessing over his oneitis has failed to build a life outside of women.

The workaholic who does nothing but slave for a corporation has failed to build a source of fulfillment outside of money.

Hobbies are a cornerstone to a man’s well being.

3. Save….Invest.

This one is simple.

When you earn money….pay yourself first.

There are various asset classes you can invest in…..equities, bonds, crypto, real estate.

The Intelligent Investor by Benjamin Graham  is a good book to get you started.

It is very cheap to live as a single man if you are debt free and reasonably frugal.

When you cut out wasteful activities like boozing, eating out all the time, and taking sub par women out on dates…

You’ll surprise yourself how much money you can stack.

In fact you don’t even have to open up a TD Ameritrade these days….you now buy stocks on cash app.

A strategy I like to use for my investing is dollar cost averaging.

This is just the idea that you put the same amount of money into your investments every week….month…..or every three months (the frequency is up to you).

This way you are not timing tops and bottoms of the market….but building up your investments for the long-term.

Remember…

As a man you are an appreciating asset.

The habit of saving and investing only adds to this fact.

4. Exercise.

I know you guys have already heard me talk about this one (Self Mastery-Monthly Challenge (June)

Move your body once a day….no excuses.

Doesn’t matter if you have a bum knee….do some sit ups.

Obesity is an illness.

Our current society will try to lead you to believe otherwise….

Not beautiful…..fat.

Personally, I enjoy lifting and running.

The basics.

Your body is your true home…..

Without good health the riches of the world mean nothing.

Obesity is unacceptable.

Exercise daily.

5. Write down….and review your goals.

On a piece of paper.

Write down everything you want to achieve.

“I will….earn $xxx,xxx by…..x/xx/xxxx.”

“I will lose x pounds by….x/xx/xxxx.”

“I will start a blog by….x/xx/xxxx.”

Writing down a habit bring your goals into the physical realm.

Setting deadlines increases your odds of achieving goals.

And then review them daily.

This ensures consistency…..

There is no doubt in my mind that when you write a goal down….

The likelihood of achieving that goal increase ten fold (at least).

Add a deadline….twenty fold.

Review and act daily…..

achievement is inevitable.

6. Question your beliefs

Beliefs are the lenses through which we interpret our external environment.

Much of the self doubt, irrational fears, and anger we have derives from our beliefs.

The MGTOW man should question his beliefs.

Common beliefs:

  • I need a woman’s validation to feel like a man.
  • Material possessions will make me happy.
  • Only once I achieve something of importance….will I be enough.
  • My life will never change.
  • Trading five days of time for two is a good deal.

Question them all.

The best thing about beliefs is that we get to choose which ones we put our energy into.

Question all beliefs.

Do not pigeonhole yourself to any single one.

Replace limiting beliefs with ones that serve you.

Choose beliefs that allow you to interpret your environment in way that serves you.

Serving beliefs:

  • I am enough.
  • I set the rules for my reality.
  • Happiness is a choice.
  • Working hard makes me feel good.
  • Change is a natural part of life.

7. Read

The MGTOW man will read veraciously.

“Reading forces alien thoughts upon the mind—thoughts which are as foreign to the drift and temper in which it may be for the moment, as the seal is to the wax on which it stamps its imprint. The mind is thus entirely under compulsion from without; it is driven to think this or that, though for the moment it may not have the slightest impulse or inclination to do so.”

Books are the most underrated investment…..a $12-$20 investment with knowledge that has the potential to change your life and produce thousands of dollars.”

This is why I am considering changing my Simp of the Week posts to MGTOW book of the week.

Reading is a powerful habit

Read daily if time permits.

Many books contain knowledge that took men many years of sweat and pain to attain….

All for the costs of a few cups of coffee.

Reading is an invaluable habit for the MGTOW man.

“Anti-MGTOW” Habits To Avoid

Now time to introduce some the anti-habits.

These are the habits that a man should avoid in his path to growth.

Unfortunately many of these habits are too common among men today.

1. Boozing

Many men booze every weekend.

In some cases every night.

“Which is recorded of Socrates, that he was able both to abstain from, and to enjoy, those things which many are too weak to abstain from, and cannot enjoy without excess. But to be strong enough both to bear the one and to be sober in the other is the mark of a man who has a perfect and invincible soul.”
― Marcus Aurelius, Meditations

Most men partake in boozing because it is the “in” thing to do.

Their friends do it.

They can meet women while boozing.

What’s not to like about boozing?

Often men use alcohol as a crutch….

Only when they are “buzzed” can they engage with their external environment.

Sure….maybe every once in a while pop open a few cold ones with your bros.

But every week?

Every night?

“Damn shame.”

2. Simping

You already know my stance on this.

I’ll just pound it in again for good measure.

Don’t simp.

Ever.

You are wasting your time and energy on sub par women…..

Simping is the action of orbiters, emotional tampons, and male feminists.

You are none of those.

So don’t simp.

3. Approval seeking

Work a job you want to work.

Take actions you want to take.

Set goals that you want to achieve.

Don’t let society or the “right path” dictate your actions.

Seeking approval is a nasty habit….

You set the rules for your reality.

4. Apologizing

I notice many men like to apologize for even the smallest of grievances….

-(Accidentally bumps into someone while exiting door)……“Sorry.”

-(Says something true that causes offense/outrage)….“Sorry.”

-(Says “No.” to an activity he doesn’t wish to participate in)…..“Sorry.”

Quit apologizing.

It’s unnecessary weakness…..that simple.

Unless you truly harm someone or cause unchangeable damage…..knock the apologetic behavior.

Walk through life unashamed.

5.Giving away time freely.

This is a tough one. ( Read This Once a Month…Life Is Short)

There will always be people asking for you to give away your time.

“Can I get a ride?”

“Let’s go do this tonight.”

Come hang out for four hours.”

This perhaps my biggest pet peeve.

When a person does not respect your time…..they don’t respect you.

You can always earn more money….but never more time.

Combat the anti-habit of giving away time with one simple trick,

“No.”

Sure….some will view you as an asshole, but if it saves you time….then it’s worth it.

6. Defeatism

This has bothered me.

On the twitterverse I see some people saying things like…..

Take the black pill….it’s over anways.

Quit coping.

Defeatism is the opposite of masculinity.

Sure, I’ll meet these types in the middle and confess there are certain aspects of our society which are out of our control….

-Feminism

-Communism

-Social Justice Warriors

You get the picture.

But there is always actions I can take in my own realm to improve my situation.

If a man does not benefit from the current system society presents, it his prerogative to create an income and life outside of that system.

MGTOW should never be lumped in the same category as defeatism.

“MeH WhAT a CopE!”

Defeatism accomplishes nothing.

7. Complacency

Sloth, procrastination, waiting for the perfect moment….

These are all actions which doin’t respect time.

Even as I write this article.,…I understand it’s not perfect.

I accept that.

But it won’t stop me from posting or continuing to produce.

Perfection is your enemy.

Adapt…..and keep adjusting every day.

“Time waits on no man.”

8. Pornography, Lust.

Pornography blasts out your dopamine receptors. It addicts men to novelty and passivity. There is nothing anyone can say to me that will make me believe, “It’s JuSt SExUaL Releese BRo.”

Cut porn.

As far as lust goes.

I remember reading red pill posts back in the day…..and some guys would actively encourage others to “cuck men.” or “spin plates.”

This is just promoting a culture of degeneracy.

The more individual men that say “no.” to degenerate behavior, the better.

Say not to lust.

Say no to pornography.

Well,

This article got a bit long winded, but I hope you got some value out of it.

Always pay attention to your habits.

They are what define a man.

I’ll talk to you soon brothers.
