Golden Nuggets

Hey guys,

Hope everyone is doing well.

Today I just wanted to share with you some “nuggets” of wisdom I have picked up over the years from various sources.

I keep a journal and gather these from various books, podcasts, and videos, etc.

So without further ado, here are the nuggets:

  • Life principle: when you understand that the way people treat you is grounded in a relationship with themselves you react less. 

  • Law of power: Demonstrate do not explicate.

  • Love for women is power, for man enslavement.”-Vilar

  • We have been conditioned as men to believe that sexuality and intercourse are synonymous…not true.”

  • “The zest in life is in the roll of the dice”-Pook

  • Comfort as a road to waste.”-Cato

  • Heuristic: People lend the most to those who need them the least.

  • “Trading five days for two is an unfair trade”

  • “Ridicule is a tribute paid to genius by the mediocrities.”

  • “People with too much smoke and complicated tricks and methods in their brains start missing elementary things.”

  • “Hard work will pass fast and the good will remain, shameful acts will result in pleasure…pleasure passes fast and shame remains.”

Those are all the nuggets I have for you today.

I need to start adding to the journal again.

Hopefully some of these hit you in the right way.

It’s my opinion that every man should keep a journal with the gold nuggets of wisdom he acquires throughout life.

Otherwise he may lose them forever.
